Estelle Rodgers

EstelleAt the age of fourteen Estelle began writing lengthy fantasy novels for the fun of it. She discovered grammar and style guides to be not only useful but genuinely entertaining. She set writing aside for several years while she earned a B.S. in Game Art and Animation from Champlain College.

After three years as a freelance animator she began a career in advertising. She was the graphic designer for the 2018 Boston Teen Author Festival, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that promotes a love of reading in young adults. She was inspired to return to writing after reading Ray Bradbury’s ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’ and strives to tell stories with a similar touch of the bizarre and dark. She plans to eventually attempt to publish a novel, but in the meantime she focuses on short stories for fantasy, sci-fi, and horror anthologies.
