It’s not every day you get to throw a launch party for a book that’s both fun thriller and historical look at legendary serial killer, Jack the Ripper. We had a great time celebrating Benjamin Thomas, and we’re so grateful to all who came! Here are the highlights:
We held the launch at the gorgeous Provo City Library. They were wonderful, and we appreciate them making us feel welcome!
We’re also grateful for the lovely booksellers at The King’s English bookshop for selling books at the launch and being so fantastic to work with, every step of the process.
Author Benjamin Thomas presented about Jack the Ripper and how it ties to and inspired Jack Be Quick. It was a lot of fun to delve more into the mystery and intrigue surrounding the Ripper.

Afterward, we gave away a bunch of cool book-themed and Jack-the-Ripper-themed prizes. (Which, of course, we forgot to take pictures of.)
Had a trivia game and learned more about the Canonical Five victims:
There were dead bodies everywhere:
We learned more about ourselves at the fingerprint ID station:
And ate morbidly delicious cupcakes.
Ben signed books and the crowd mingled.
Ben was fantastic, the crowd was so much fun, and we had a great time! Thank you to all who attended and helped us support Jack Be Quick. We couldn’t have done it without you!
